Mohicap Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. I had a week full of performance tasks in different subjects, thesis, and quizzes. To free myself from different forms of stress, my father and I went to a near lake in our place. It is one of the famous 7 lakes of San Pablo. It is the Mohicap Lake. It is located in Santa Catalina.

We went there in just a short period of time because we used our motorcycle. If you don’t have a private vehicle, you can go there by hiring a tricycle because it is hard to go there if you will commute. You will only spend few money to experience a heartwarming place. I was so amazed by its presence. Other than Sampaloc lake or other lakes, Mohicap lake is the best for me.

I wanted to stay more because of its peaceful atmosphere. I was so happy and lucky to experience this trip. I really enjoyed our trip going here because all the stress I had for last week were erased because I was able to breathe. It felt like the lake talked to me and told me that “everything will be alright”.

It can be my stress reliever and yours too. You can enjoy the sunset with your friends and family in a peaceful place. You can swim and eat on the “balsa”. You can bring your own food and have a good time with your loved ones. And that is all for today’s trip. Thank you!

Calibato Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. After 3 days of stress because of our quarterly examination, I went to a peaceful place in Sto. Angel. It is the Calibato Lake. It is not hard to find because there are local residences along the barangay whom you can ask where it is located. You can ride a jeep beside 7/11 plaza near San Pablo Cathedral.

Although I was not able to take pictures because it was already dark by the time we went there, we still felt the peacefulness in the place. On its background, we saw the beauty of Mt. Banahaw. If you will go there in the morning, you can enjoy the shadow of Talisay Trees that are around the lake. Residents along the lake rely on fishing to sustain their everyday needs. They don’t find it hard to have food for a day because they will just go to the lake and there they go fishing. That is all for now. Join me again next time in seeing the beauty of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo. Thank you!

Palakpakin Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. Before a night full of lights I went first to Palakpakin Lake. I went there with only 25Php in my pocket just to see the beauty of it and it didn’t failed my expectations.

It is located between San Lorenzo and San Buenaventura. I first ride a jeep and it dropped me off at Saluyan then I ride a tricycle. It was almost 10mins when I reached the bridge where I can see it’s beauty. Mt. Banahaw and San Cristobal are visible in the background.

There are only few views to see in this lake but you can sense peacefulness in that place. You can do fishing and boating. I cannot recommend you to swim because my dad said that it is really deep and there are people who were drowned while swimming in the lake. Residents around the lake rely upon fishing to sustain their everyday needs. And that is all for now. Join me again next time for another trip seeing the beauty of the Seven Lakes. Thank you!

Pandin lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. Christmas break is almost done. Why don’t we go to a place that is relaxing and peaceful? I’ve been so busy this week that’s why I’ve decided to blog about a place that I went to 2 years ago. I know it’s not new to you because it is all over the internet because of its amazing view and peaceful place. I am talking about the Pandin Lake of San Pablo City! All you have to do is to ride a jeep beside 7/11 Plaza near San Pablo Cathedral. You will only pay 13Php and you are good to go. The trip only takes 15mins after riding the jeep but before you get to the Pandin Lake itself, you will have to walk for a few minutes. There are rates in Pandin Lake to enjoy the “balsa” but it’s price is really worth it. If you are alone/solo, you will pay 500Php with food. If there are three persons who will enjoy the trip around the lake, it worths 1,200Php. If four and above persons, you will pay 360Php per person. It may cost big but I am sure that you will enjoy the trip. There are spots in the lake where you can swim but be sure to wear a safety jackets. There are also a lot of views where you can take pictures. You can experience peacefulness in Pandin Lake like all of us wanted. Join me again for another “lakwatsa” day, thank you!

Yambo Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. We all know that Christmas vacation is not just for us to lay on our beds but of course for us to enjoy and at the same time relax. This blog is all about Yambo lake of San Pablo city which is one of the best place here in our province. It is located in Sto. Angel, San Pablo City. You can get off at 7/11 near San Pablo Cathedral and ride a jeep and the fare is around Php10-Php15. I was able to see Yambo Lake 2 years ago. You can do swimming here and relax on their floating cottages. It really has its beautiful view which makes you feel at peace for a moment. There are also foods available if you don’t want to bring your own. There are no entrance fee in the said lake but you must rent floating cottages to be able to see the beauty of Yambo Lake. My dad grew up in Sto. Angel that’s why he has a lot of stories about Yambo lake and it’s twin lake-Pandin Lake. There is a legend that tells about this two lakes. They said that these two were named after two lovers who were cursed and were separated from each other by a strip of land. And that’s all for now, thank you and I hope you enjoyed reading!

Bunot Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. After my visit in Sampaloc Lake, I went straight to Bunot Lake. It is located in Barangay Concepcion, San Pablo City. You can ride a jeep beside 7/11 Plaza near Cathedral San Pablo to go here. I expected more about the lake because of the “Lake House” before it.

I was not able to enter the gate because it was private. My dad then showed me a different way just for me to see Bunot Lake.

Its way was so slippery because the weather is not good when we went there. I just saw a bit of the lake because I only stood beside the houses near the lake. Not like Sampaloc Lake, we can’t do much activities such as jogging or exercising because it doesn’t have enough space on the side of the lake.

Yes, I was disappointed because I expected much of the lake but it was still a beautiful experience to see the hidden beauty of Bunot Lake.

Sampaloc lake

The Beauty of Sampalok Lake

Good day everyone! Everyday is a new “lakwatsa” day. Today, I want to let you know more about Sampaloc Lake of San Pablo City. You can go there by simply hiring a tricycle from San Pablo Cathedral. As I went there, I was able to relax and at the same time enjoy. In the morning, you can see many people exercising, jogging, eating, and dancing zumba. It is one of the best lakes in San Pablo knowing that people use it to maintain or improve their health. It is also a great place to have bonding with your family and friends to have picnic. It also has its “Lion’s Club” where parties are held. There are also spots where you can take pictures, may it be selfie or groufie! It is also famous for its 3.7km walking trip.
